Like… Can We Get A Like?

Angela is a graduate of the US Army Physical Fitness School. Only the fittest and best leaders are selected to attend this school. She completed The Master Fitness Course and became a Certified Personal Trainer through
this program.

She served as a deputy unit commander at the U.S. Army Basic Training School, Fort Jackson, SC in 2002. This gave her the opportunity to train unfit individuals to Army standards and conduct fitness assessments. Angela also taught these Soldiers about fitness injury prevention, nutrition and conducting physical training classes and
fitness tests.

Angela retired from the Army as a Major in 2011. And in November of 2012 she joined Lacey Ultimate Fitness
Center. She became certified to teach RPM July of 2013, ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor in April 2014,
Weight Lifting “Body Pump” Certified September 2014, Silver Sneaker “Senior fitness” Certified March 2015, and Zumba Certified July 2015. Along the way she has learned to instruct group fitness classes’ civilian style, “I can’t holler and shout angrily at people to motivate them like Soldiers.”

Angela’s newest certification is in TRX which took place September 2015. This is a program that she likes to participate in and is super excited to be instructing it at Lacey Ultimate Fitness Center! Starting to instruct group personal training is a field she is excited to get involved in with a variety of activities.
