Finally, summer is here! I hope you have a fantastic season enjoying our beautiful Northwest weather. This time of year, many of us will supplement our gym workouts with outdoor exercise. Please make sure you keep hydrated with plenty of liquids, and listen to your body by taking short breaks.
The best time of day to exercise outdoors in the hot summer months is early mornings and evenings. Enjoy your poolside lounging, vacations and BBQ’s, but remember that keeping up your fitness routine will help you enjoy your summer even more. As always, LUFC is air-conditioned and open seven days a week, 24 hours a day – for working out ANYTIME!
